Location

Skald is located in the northern part of Blade’s Edge Mountains and consists of rugged terrain populated by fire elementals. While elevation changes limit perfect circular routing, mob density remains consistent enough to maintain steady kill chains.

Competition is high due to Mote of Fire drops chance. However, even during peak hours, there are enough respawn points to continuously find and kill fire elemental mobs. This even applies when covering the area on a 100% ground mount.

Mobs to Kill

  • Scorch Imp, casts Firebal
  • Searing Elemental, does AOE fire damage
  • Scalded Basilisk, casts heavy-hitting Heatwave spell

Mob characteristics:

  • Elemental-type mobs
  • Medium HP pools
  • Fire-based spell and melee damage
  • No crowd control or dangerous mechanics

Elementals won’t drop reputation or netherweave items, but compensate with valuable elemental drops.

Verified XP per Hour – Conservative

  • Estimated XP/hour: 65.000 – 75.000
  • Based on ~550–600 XP per mob at level 66–68
  • Realistic solo kill rate: ~1,5 mobs per minute
  • No rested XP, AoE farming, or group bonuses included

Why conservative: A verification test was conducted with a level 66 character on level 67/68 mobs, which does impact kill speed and damage taken.

XP/hour is lower than top-tier humanoid camps but remains consistent due to low downtime and predictable pulls.

Verified Gold per Hour

  • Vendor trash
  • Occasional green items
  • Calculated and verified gold/hour: 200g per hour
